The irony in this is that even though she she should be dispirited, there is a scant grimace of the subject sort of happy. I think it is the shape of the lips or the chin, maybe even the color of the eyes that give the impression. So wonderful this paintting is I love your work. I know you could do an encyclopedia of anima a pictrure book - these are so awsome a shame not to be seen and preserved in larger quantities.

This is very pretty...I like it a lot. The black and yellow work well together and there is lots of interest around the edges of the image. Good work...well done!
