The people in the trailer park knew the signs and left in droves, but the people in the condos across the street felt safe. One hour later all of this was flattened by the twister
An interesting and ominous picture, especially in the aftermath of Katrina/Rita in Louisiana. 1000 who stayed were drowned. Twisters, floods, hurricanes, tsunamis. What else is going to happen? Are any of us really safe?
i love your work, tj
full of atmosphere... i think u should be makin movies. if u can do such a great job with a still pic, i can only but imagine u working wonders from a director s chair :)
Nice observation on society, how one group has a different take on the same event in the same location, but the difference gives way to survival. The mobile and aware win when in danger. Can you tell I grew up in Kansas and can relate to this?

I disagree with Senior Anonymous big time. You had a great idea and the execution is right on. Excellent, provocative work.Aris Stathakis 17 Nov 2005
