There is such a strong religious feel to this that I am positive many of your viewers will be thinking they are looking at a portrait of Christ - knowing you, you've taken that into consideration and it's all part of the plan. What it says to me is that new figures are taking over "idol" roles - musicians, writers, artists, actors, etc. To me, this is less about the subject's true feeling and more about the way he is held in almost holy regard by others. All of the work and struggle you've put into this is reflected in the SOLID composing, the sensitive shifts of light and tone, and the all over complete whole of the piece. Way to go, my friend!
