I heard of a person who would throw the bones of animals (from hunting and livestock that did not survive the winter.) into the trees. Over the years, they became embeded in the trees and they took on a unique appearance.
These are very amusing accessories for your tree! We have not seen these before, and I have been sitting here enjoying them with my husband.. Love the kittie cat bird house with his mouth wide open - too funny..lol :) Excellent photos Theresa!! Thank you for sharing them with us! :o)
