I do think the feeling came out in her eyes, use depth of colors from black to white to help more with a 3d image instead of a flat sketch - basics are pretty good. Keep practicing your talent shows!

nice, it reminds me of some of my sister abby's art. for the record; i think the feeling comes out in the large pupils, the shine in the eyes, and the eyebrows.
