Pencil Original size: 15" x 21" Copyright 2004 Look familiar? After I completed this in pastel I decided to try it in pencil to see what it looked like as a black and white drawing. I'm still not sure which I prefer better because they convey different feelings. It's an interesting excercise to render subjects in different media.

I looked at the one in pastel and it is also amazing...but Id have to say this one is my favorite of the two...but maybe because I love pencil work. It would be really neat to see this same picture done in acrylic as well. Just a perfect composition, in any medium!Colleen Dawson 28 May 2005
