For a first attempt, you really set the mood and atmosphere wonderfully with the lighting and contrasting darks and lights. Its a great first attempt.

For a first try, this is fantastic. Her hands are a little too small for her face, but the overall painting has warmth and personality. Because of the hands I can only give the image a 9.
