Walkway closed

Due to the overflow from the melted ice and snow (which are all gone now!) all the walkways beside the rivers are closed... this happens every year. At least this year it is not so bad, there is usually reports of terrible flooding. This year the melt down went really smoothly, and the ground, wind and sun is taking care of all the excess water nicely! We just have to be patient, and let the ducks and geese have control of the water ways for now! (photo taken aprox. April 12th, with Olympus digital camera, no enhancements, only a frame in photoshop) :o)

I am from Pa and we had two floods this year. It's amazing when water does this. At least the ducks get to travel to parts they would never otherwise get to. :}

There is a mysterious, fantasy-like look to the photo. It appears as if the trees have sprouted out of the water and are going to take over the town. I love it when an interesting photo gets my imagination working overtime. Excellent perspective. Beautiful presentation.
