the Roundhouse..circa..1873..

the Roundhouse ,on put in bay ,ohio, first opened its doors in june 1873, as the columbia restaurant. in 1950 the McCann family bought it and painted it, its now famous red...always a center of attraction to this day, this is my rendition of how it might have looked on a starry sat. night in 1873... i took an originial photo , put into photo shop, painted, filtered, added a few pieces of other original photos, put into ulead, adjusted hues, added stars...

I know this building! I have spent many days at Put in Bay. What a great little island. Your painting has reproduced the Round House perfectly. It's like stepping back in time. Great job
