hi - this is leora ashman nathan dabush (c below) sister!! do you live here? who was your fathers parents? i also just discovered the english family who now live here! do you have any info on the other 2 brothers of haim and rephael- shaul and aron?

Artist Reply: Hello Leora. I live in ISRAEL, Born in Israel. I'm the daughter of Aaron Dabush, he is your father's cousin, i believe. There is INFO, About Rabbi Refael in internet. You can find an artical here.http://www.or-shalom.org.il/article.asp?article_main_id=1&article_sub_topic_id=354&article_id=411&article_topic_id=60&article_topic_name=%EE%F0%E4%E9%E2%E9%20%E4%F7%E4%E9%EC%E4%20%E5%F8%E1%F0%E9%E4&article_sub_topic_name=%F8%E1%F0%E9%ED%20%E5%EB%EC%E9%20%F7%E5%E3%F9 Since it is in Hebrew, you can try using TRANSLATOR on line.. unless you know Hebrew. I know nothing of Refael brothers. My grandfather, was SHALOM DABUSH, He was the son of Rabbi Haeim and Aziza. The only thing i know is that Aziza, was here in Israel, many years ago... I think anyway. Here you can find an old photo of my grandparents, Shalom & Yole Dabush. and also read what i know. My grandparents died around 1977, i was a kid ( 13 years old )http://www.artwanted.com/imageview.cfm?id=642083&SGID=2414 THanks for visiting... Have a delightful day... HAPPY SUKOT..!

These Roots pieces are fantastic - you could keep exploring this series of work, it is very intriguing, personal and the images are quite interesting to observe. I like them both individually, but I like them together even better. Great job Nira.
