A.V.G. Flying Tigers fighter group mascott

Although of course....I was not there, or maybe I just look really good for my age? Nah. My Grandmother actually knew the Author of "God is My Co-Pilot" his name was Colonel Scott, whom wrote this book and also flew with the Tigers and in General Chenault's group protecting the Burma road from Japanese invasionary forces. I never had the opportunity to meet this man, but have read the book numerous times. It was given to her and signed by Scott, although in bad shape after all these years, it is leather bound and embossed and just too cool. My Grandfather flew for the 8th Air Force stationed in England and piloted many B-17 missions over occupied Europe. His name was Thomas Greenlee. Sorry for the long and dramatic story, but theres too much to say about this emblem and it's history in my life. Size is 30x24" "this is not complete but almost, just minor touch-ups!"
