Another therapeutic drawing of my husband done while enduring the extension of his long awaited return from Iraq. Graphite on Bristol Vellum 9x12 A bit rougher than I usually finish, but I liked it this way.

This is what art is, individuality. Some "grab", some enrage, and some simply tell a story or show an emotion. I dabble in graphite portraits, and believe me this rates a 10. As does the rest of her portraits. By the way you have a handsome husband Beth, hope he comes home soon.
