I dis-agree Brook..the effect is solid color..many old masters painted forals in this fashion..colors toned down abit..Pop artists like Andy Warhol & Jim Dine created bright plains of colors used in the painting below..Amber took it further..this is a top rate painting..meant to trick the eye and confuse the senses..10/10

The flower itself is beautiful. The colors are nice and it has a nice feel to it. The background however needs work. It is making the painting look dull with just one solid color
