This painting depicts colorful walls of houses in my neighborhood, trees and flowers blossoming in Spring. It is a picture of my street at Earl Place in Toronto downtown, a place that I call home sweet home. This artwork shows a sidewalk beautifully painted in pink tone to symbolize my footprints and those of the present and past residents of the surroundings. It also pictures a long fence on which people have leaned over and over. A pole naming the place gives a sense of belonging to the residents. All this evokes the hidden human impact on nature across time. An ordinary scene of daily life with a great humans’ positive footprint history.
