You've got a good start on drawing animals. If your goal is realism - as in making it look like a photo, you can try going in after you've shaded with a very sharp pencil... drawing in tiny hairs or long hairs for the mane. Keep up the great work! :)

This is nice, I think drawing animals are hard. I haven't done many.
