Bishop Dubuis (circa 2000) (GIFT)

This is a portrait of Bishop Dubuis, founder of an order of nuns who created hospitals in Texas. The Christus system still flourishs to this day and there are a series of long term care facilities that bear his name. There is a portrait of him in our local facility which is so insipid that I wanted to do something bolder. Whether it works or not is another question. The original is in Houston at the sister's convent. I only recently got this photographic image.

Well I like yours better already, and I haven't seen the original...It just screams "Holy Man!"
