gee wiz

I've never outgrown my love for the colorful and crazy sites of the fair. The colors alone are enough to lift me into a euphoric state, but I think it's the energy of so many happy children that makes me really buoyant. This was rendered from a photograph I shot at the Mid State Fair in Paso Robles, CA. I've rendered it in colored inks which have a luminescent quality that brings out the vividness of the experience.

you quite captured that harsh, tacky feeling of the fair (or boardwalks or carnivals). it's sickeningly sweet, colorwise. *thumbs up*
