On the Big Island of Hawaii sits the volcano known as Mauna Kea, rising to a height 0f13,803 ft. above sea level, making it the highest point in the Hawaiian chain of islands. An amazing point of view, high above the clouds as the sun starts to lower on the horizon. Home to quite a few observatories which occupy some 500 acers of Mauna Kea's summit.
