Junior Kimbrough...perhpas the most underrated bluesman of our time. His music breaks my heart, ever see a big guy cry?! If haven't heard his blues go out and get You Better Run: the Essential Junior Kimbrough, it will floor you...oil, charcoal on burlap, 39.5" x 48", much more raw and freestyle than J.C., I wasn't too comfortable with this palette, cad. red, white, and pthalo blue are my safety net

Very expressive and true to your style. I don't see the little circle you always put in the eye?ryan mowry 14 Feb 2005
rob another good one, i actually really like the color palette.something i haven't seen from you recently.i take it you have got over that recent painting block?the face and expression is very moody which translate well with the cool blues.i like the play of the cool palette and the brown burlap.you have me intrested and wanting to listen to this guyAaron Wisdom 13 Feb 2005

Nice brush work. Great colors. I think all of your things are metamorphoses of sorts. I know why you like Kafka. My favorite is "The Hunger Artist."adriana Ippati-Torrens 13 Feb 2005
