“Beauty” comes in many forms and does not always fit the “accepted standards, and is also a function of the soul within. I have failed miserably as a portrait artist if it is not immediately apparent who this is a portrait of. The viewer might want to take a close look at the eyes, and at the hairline, not to mention the humorous “print” on the subject’s clothing, for this tongue-in-cheek, whimsical rendition of the woman who was born as “Karen.”
