This drawing is one of my favorites. It was done as an assignment for my Drawing III course. It was drawn with the cheapest beat-up pastels ever! As a college student you can't always buy the best supplies. Anyway, the assignment was to incorporate one of your favorite pieces of famous art into your drawing. I used a a Dali painting titled Paysage Aux Papillons. It has always been one of my most favorite Dali originals basically because of the intense color scheme of blues and oranges. ©Lizz Robertson 2003

Dang fine piece of art. If i could critique a bit. I wish one of the walls were a little diferent tonally and that there were a cast shadow or 2 against the walls from one or more of the paper shards or butterflys to really punch up the cool sense of space you've created.Lauren Maxwell 05 Feb 2005
Gasp. This is so profound and beautiful. It's kinda tricky to wrap your mind around which makes it superior work. Great job.Michael Kennedy 05 Feb 2005
