Great White Heron

This is a Great White Heron. Some books call it the White Phase of a Great Blue Heron. I found this beautiful bird at the southern end of the Everglades. Update...I am putting the same bird but a little different compostion.

hello rusin : ) I read your remark in the forum so i wanted to give you my honest opinions.. this is a highlight of your gallery for me...the first thing i adored was the thin long neck.. what struck me as a bit of a dissappointment was the cutoff of the legs feet.. with that addition it would have been a perfect composition... the colours soothe me.. the sunset on the breast warms me... lovely work : )
