Striving for an Equilibrium

Wanted to symbolize the struggle both in life and within ourselves for a spiritual balance. I chose the focal point as two hands locked together, one red and one blue (signifying the good and bad) as they wrestle for control in the midst of chaos and order. Basically a yin and yang type surreal message.Copyright 2004 by Imaginative Pencil and myself. All rights reserved.

I have to chuckle some, Justin! U really get into the cerebral hemorrage n hemisphere! Yup! I don't care what size these phantasisms r, they r psychedelic n profoundly intricate! Some of Dalis' most famous works were maybe only standard typing paper demensions. this is one I can relate to, everyday perpetual perplexity, the acrobatic struggle between the opposing forces. I think I can comprehend that! tyu 4 all your comments on my lighter perhaps silly side. I am ever grateful... Stranger in a Strange Land! Keep watch at the gates!

sweet jesus you are good.... i dallied over here from your much appreciated comments on my werk. the structure seems so wild and free, almost fearfully unstable, yet the firm elements of the piece support it and it's like they rely on each other to keep it's intricate shape. the dense colors just blow me away; it's almost as if the picture is alive.

This image reminds me that to find peace you must stay centered and keep to the middle path. Not to react to the opposites or extremes.
