In Savannah, GA, the Catholic church is so gorgeous. The marble was hand painted which disappointed me but columns are expensive. Breathtaking.

Most Catholic Churches are very ornate,& elaborate on appearance .with Mosaic Glass images ,like this one

Artist Reply: I could count ten Catholic hometown churdhes in NY that were not ornate in the US but a large one like this they can be. In Europe you see more churches that are as ornate as this.
