Even though the Winter season doesn't officially begin until December 21, 2017, this picture of snow covered brown autumn leaves that I photographed shows a 'meeting' of the two seasons. I used my smartphone camera to produce this picture on 12-15-2017 when Baltimore, Maryland experienced snowy weather.
