this piece has been long in the making having gone through various guises, first as different sketches then up to finished drawings but ultimately the plan was always to create a larger piece! The concept of this painting is that humans are like leaves on a tree and the tree is a symbol for a pool or mass of consciousness, as the the leaves fall they compost and feed the roots for new leaves to grow. acrylic on canvas
