This painting is based on a photograph that I took in Northern California. I was intrigued by a collection of old pocket watches on display in an antique case. They werre beautiful and both of my Grandfather's (now long gone) carried pocket watches. It was a time of reflection for me and perhaps for some of you. A salute to "times past". Enjoy.

Incredible details, a look a times gone by, the colors mesh together well, composition is perfect and both of my grandfathers carried one of these as well. G Pa Watkins had given me his, but it was stolen from me in college!! Your friend, Mark

Now, many people don't even wear a wrist watch. Rely just on their phones!
