This incredible artistic grasshopper I saw yesterday outside the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts. I told a worker that this magnificent grasshopper belonged In the museum not outside. On research this Florida giant orange grasshopper, is called the Eastern Lubber Grasshopper. As is usually the case, it's bright colors signal that it is filled with toxins that will make any potential predator ill. I took these photos with my iPhone. I hope you enjoy!
