A colored pencil painting done on Dura-Lar polyester matte surfaced film using Prismacolor Verithin pencils. This painting shows an old corn crib being gradually reclaimed from the farmer by the wooded hillside. Nature's methods can provide beauty and inspiration! The dimensions of this painting are 8 inches X 10 inches. I hope that you enjoy.

An excellent looking pencil artwork- At first glance, I thought that this was an actual photograph.

Artist Reply: Vernonette: thank you once again for your very nice comment. I'm glad that you first thought that it was a photograph. I do strive to render very photorealistic paintings. Probably stems from my obsession with detail as a retired gross anatomy professor! Thanks again.
