This is another of my earth color inspired creations. It is an encaustic painting on a 8x8 wood panel with a 1/2" cradle. It is ready for hanging. The piece is inspired by all the wonderful, warm colors of earth. It is an encaustic painting which also includes shellac which I torch with a flame, oil paint, alcohol inks, and beads. I love the flowing action that the torched shellac gives. To me it looks like the flow of a river.
