Great picture Emily. When I was 9 years old I rescued a male bluejay that had fallen out of a nest. I fed it with an eyedropper and as it grew up I used to walk down the street with it on my shoulder. I ended up giving it to a writer in Pa, Bucks County and the bird used to ride on his carriage as he used his typewriter.
