This peice was inspired by a few things, including the animated short Destino and the idea that love makes people inseparable. On the other side, the arms broke off, in an attempt to fix a crack. I was upset by this, but many seem to like it, as it gives the statuette an antiquated look. I entered this peice in the Shasta College Student art exhibit, along with my Red Forest Mask- not only did both get in, but this peice was among those chosen for an award. I am very proud of this peice for all it's gone through.
