...she seems to have the distance of a goddess, ruler of some fiery realm perhaps, though it's clear she's not exactly happy with her lot, and perhaps wishes for more than she has, or to be less than she is - if that makes sense. Very intriguing piece - though it appears at first like a confrontational stare-down, she seems also to want to be looked into, rather than just looked at. Provoking stuff, very good.
