This is my granny. She must be around fifty-six here. In the meantime she’s in her seventies. During summer holidays I often stayed the night. She lived out of town, near a railway. At first I always woke up every time a train passed by but after a week I had grown accustomed to it and slept like a log. My grandparents had a large garden where they mainly grew vegetables. Some tall cherry trees adorned it. In the backyard there was a henhouse. Each morning I was allowed to collect fresh eggs.
