Fragments an interactive installation by artists Jairo Zaldua and Nicola Green opened at the Free Space Gallery on the 21st July with an evening of workshops run by the artists as well as a performance by dancer Katsura Isobe. In the piece inspired by Nikolai Gogol and his short story Diary of a Madman the artists ask us to explore our feelings about our state of mind through a series of tasks. Selecting and responding to words, grouping them in collages and in diaries and aiding in the physical and symbolic growth of the project. Performer: Katsura Isobe Photo: Gigi Giannella
