...safely grey

I learned greys very early... The subtle, soft and secure place to be... No statement of colours and bravado...I learned extremely young to convert complexities into the realms of no colours...Black and white, truth and lies, joy and despair... Greys are safe for me.... Charcoal / chalk 14x18

in grays it is easy to hide from the real truth

Wow...absolutely GORGEOUS work! You have a great portfolio! I love the depth and emotion of her eyes...there's a hidden sadness to read into. Fantastic stuff! I love it!

I find it extremely hard to comment on your work Sher in that mere superlatives just don't seem enough to describe the extremely, incredibly, talented artist you are, and in all mediums at that. Your portfolio of work is outstanding, awe inspiring, and astonishing, every piece chocked full of drop jaw world class talent that can only inspire others to dig deeper. I'm hoping one day I might get lucky and find a posting of yours just up so i might be able to comment without it all being said before in the previous comments! You truly are an exceptional artist. Exquisite work.

Grey is comfortable and safe whether it's the colors you use in your artwork, the colors you use in your wardrobe, or the way you choose to live.

Charles Oliver 09 Sep 2004

It is nice to be safe and secure but your work exemplifies going out on a limb and always journeying with no fear of venturing beyond.

Jeff Scott 09 Sep 2004

Nice jod Sher

tim linville 09 Sep 2004

I think it's worth at least a 12!You know I Love these tones!

Andree Lerat 09 Sep 2004

Same with me. I started with fine art photography in black and white only. In the various shades of the zone system lies the true image and talent. Color can be distracting and will be used more effectively once black and white is conquered. Sad eyes Sher.
