This jewelry box is designed to be exotic and elegant. It is made out of solid Wenge / Wengue wood and inlaid in Beech. The two trays are also in solid Wenge and can be taken out. The jewelry box is finished in french polish (shellac) and lacquer. *Hand carved means the specific use of non-power hand held tools such as chisels - NO lasers, power tools, etc. are used* The stays are gold plated.
