Sheba

I finished this portrait of Sheba, my akita, and first dog a week before she died of possible stomach caner. She would lay in this pose and watch me lifting one eyebrow after another with her beautiful expressive eyes. She arrived in my back yard after Hurricane Katrina as a stray to stay. The large painting measures 24" x 40" and is done in oil on canvas.
