Here's My Latest Painting. It's a 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood parked at a drive in movie theater watching King Kong. There was a unique magic about these drive in theaters. It's a place where many people have had a flood of memories made. whether it was your first kiss, or jamming all your buddies into the trunk of dad's car just to save a few bucks to get in, either way the memories that originated there were golden. It's sad to see abandoned drive in theaters nationwide which are now in overgrown fields with a large deteriorating white wall at the front of the old field that has been swallowed by expanding urban areas.
