the Gardening

How many times we seen a flower
in the existence of our lives?
Did they bring you joy or sorrow,
or were their colors just a lie?

It’s always pretty when they’re blooming,
but it is short, they’re gone soon.
Cutting of their umbilical cord,
leaves just some threads and sometimes roots.
Because like humans she is planted.
Bedded in a softly womb.
And when they’re fallen
We take their heads up from the ground.

Indeed we like their magic color,
the ones they open up their heart.
They might be good or filled with poison,
Like human beings also pass.

So clever!

Artist Reply: Thank you Joan... I won't call me clever. I only walk around with thoughts. Those thoughts keep me all day busy and I try them to be realated to my work.

a very nice surrealistic work..the girl's name surely was 'Rose'..

Artist Reply: Her name given was Sophia... It's from a Greek maiden name which means wise. Thank you Metin Topa!

Ben, this is a fantastic poetic tribute to the flowers that we all do LOVE on AW, whatever they are painted, photographed ... Love the comparison with human beings !!

Artist Reply: A lot of times we can be comparished to our mother nature. Water, earth, fire and wind are those 4 elements that are always on our side... Thank you for feeling this poetry.
