metin topa the mother on the nest is so beautiful with its red spot..lovely capture..
| Artist Reply: Metin thank you so much for the excellent comment, it is greatly appreciated always. They are beautiful birds but can be extremely dangerous when they are on the nest like this getting very aggressive to protect it and the eggs. I got my shots as quickly as I could and then left before she became too much more agitated. I hope to go back in about a month and see if I can catch the babies when they are hatched. | ||

John Cappello So enveloped in the grass. It looks like it's Magical, enchanting stare. This is a Fun Wooded land, Loyd
| Artist Reply: John, thank you so much for the excellent comment, i it is greatly appreciated always. Believe me she was not happy with my presence there and it didn't take her long to start to get aggressive towards me and start with the distress calls to the others. They can be dangerous when they start that so got my shots as quickly as I could and decided to leave for now. I hope to go back in about a month and see if I can catch the babies when they hatch, and hopefully stay in one piece while doing so. LOL | ||

Julie Mayser How neat!!!! Love it!
| Artist Reply: Julie, thank you so very much for the excellent comment, it it truly appreciated always. This is the first time that I have managed to catch one on the nest and she actually sat there until she heard the shutter click and then she was up and raising a total ruckus. I figured that I would get a few shots and then be out of there as I didn[t want to upset her too much. Now to go back in about a month and see if I can get the babies when they hatch. | ||

I am like you, I am glad that I was able to catch these and they didn't get aggressive with me while I was there. Now I hope to go back in about a month and see if I can get the little ones when they hatch out and hopefully stay in one piece while doing so.

Sharon Gonzalez SUPERB CAMOUFLAGE HERE, LOYD, AND SUPERB PHOTO.
| Artist Reply: Sharon, thank you so very much for the excellent comment, it is truly appreciated always. She was camouflaged fairly good and I almost missed her as I walked past her then came back. I am glad she didn't become aggressive towards me, nor did the male when I shot the photos. I hope to go back in about a month and see if I can get the little ones when they hatch, and hopefully stay in one piece. LOL... | ||
