A winter scene overlooked by a silvery moon. The technique provides a wonderful texture which builds dimension to the entire painting. Oils mixed with cold wax applied with a palette knife carefully built up through layers gives wonderful eye appeal and teases the senses as ones longs to touch the the hills and crevasses of paint. Mixed media on canvas. 61cm x 45.7cm. 2009.
