  Little Red Witchling Figure

A sturdy little girl. This sweet little witchling stands stoutly on any even surface.Cute without being cutesy she is evolved from the generic 'ladies' symbol found on toilet doors all over the world. The most basic symbol of a woman turned into a witch child.Really more vacant of 'evil' than your average tin of biscuits.Which is the point! Measurements; Height 24cm Width her widest area is her hat brim and this measures 18cm across The width of her body at the widest area of the front of her triangular dress measures 12.5cm Her legs measure 9cm in height. This little witchling has had her hat broken in two places, both cracks have been sealed and painted over, one is still visible but looks in keeping with the structure. She is constructed from strong mount-board and paper mache composite. She has small metal fragments embedded in the paper mache in her legs to her her keep her balance, she won`t take off in a breeze! Her round head is solid paper mache composite, this is a stronger type of paper mache which was once used to make dolls out of as it can be sanded or sawn. Her hat is mostly mount board. Her blood is hand made gesso and she is painted in acrylic and heavily varnished in gloss.
