Parker by Mary Ellen Parker ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ 08/23/04 I am self taught with all computer and paintshop graphics , so I am displaying my methods, not the methods taught in graphic design class. I created a THEATRICAL POSTER announcement from the design I started of three theatrical masks, complete as an advertisment announcing a drama group presentation. Beginning with a blank canvas, and working soley with my mouse as a paintbrush and the paint tools colors, size, shape, and transparancy as paint for my paintbrush, I used only the mouse and my imagination. One tiny tiny little teardrop finished each mask to emphasise theatrical drama. I completed the project by adding a FRAME and shadow to enhance and set out the color in the art. The finished product was almost a four day project, off and on... or approximately 20 hrs to complete. I have done many posters and ads for locals using their photos, and my design and text. Posters or Announcements or ads with photos can usually be created in a few hours and are much easier to put together. ) Please check out the steps that it took to create this piece before rating. http://www.artwanted.com/mb.cfm?Task=Topic&Topic=56529&Cat=9
