Artist Reply: Hi Aqua, have posted the original alongside, as you can see it is quite dark dull and lifeless, so my intention in filtering was to bring back a bit of vibrancy, and also I wanted to have a hand painted woodcut feel to it, as at the moment I am teaching my students about lino cutting, and in particular the wonderful prints of an Australian printer Margret Preston who produced some beautiful and now iconic images of Australian Flora. :) Cheers Ropati
