Seascape

Oil 24"x36" This is a painting I did for a friend for Christmas. He brought me this painting that was painted mostly in brown and said keep it and use the canvas. I painted over the whole painting and kept most of the drawing.

You're right. It isn't that hard. People make it more complicated then it needs to be. I takes alot of ptracice to get past mentally preconcieved notions and just start casting smoothly with accuracy and control. Once you master the basics you start wanting to use a fly rod for everything. It isn't universally great in all situations, but it's the best way to present to any fish in shallow and clear water with a very natural look.
