Walkin Miss Mousy

Yeh, nothing like shopping this time of year – specially if you’re able to swing a spree out to Paris like ol’what’shername and me did the other day. Expensive – Nah! – We just hopped in the old Yellow-Truck and trekked over to a town in what we like to call North, Texas – goes by the name of Paris. Just a wide spot in the road really but we were off in that direction to take a look at Route 66 and reckoned it was as close to Paris as we’d ever come ~:0) One thing I do like about Paris – Texas – is that like in many small towns they have what they call Head-In-Parking. Well I’m all for it. Instead of struggling to parallel park in the downtown district all a fella gotta do is drive front first right into a generous lined parking spot with a meter at the end of it. Don’t mind feeding the meter when it’s easy-in – easy-out like that. Gotta help the merchants there as well – need a wide street to make it work though. Anyway – long/short – we were dog-sitting for one of our new friends and decided to take ol’ Mousy (the dog’s name) along for the ride and there-in lies the tale. Ol’what’shername took little Miss Mousy shopping with her and discovered in short order why I’m not overly fond of little dogs. They’re cute and all, but rarely trained to the leash like a bigger dog like my Sweetie. Sweetie’s one of the employees at our new home in Texas – she likes to patrol the perimeter as her trainer says – and she’s trained to the leash – which make me look good when we’re out perambulating ~:0) Well I had to snap the photo of “OWHN” completely fettered by the clever Miss Mousy on the sidewalk in front of a nice Plymouth Prowler parked out front of Fi-Fi La Tour’s Lingerie Shop in Downtown Paris, Texas this Christmas Shopping Season – Ha! And that is what gets me up in the afternoons to go out and make pictures – maybe You should try it – though your shots probably won’t turn out quite like mine do – after all – I am a trained professional ~:0) VivaChas!
