Vase & Flowers Shades of Purple Painting

This is an acrylic painting on sculpted substructure in shades of purple and lilac. I love purple, as many artists do. The vase and animals are sitting on a patio glass table top.

Lovely floral painting, and I admire your uses of varying shades of purple. :)

Artist Reply: Thank you for liking my purple painting. It was kind of hard balancing all the shades of purple and magenta. I found it challenging, but was pleased with the final result.

very unique...like it!

Artist Reply: Thank you. This painting combined my favorite colors, shades of purple and magenta, and texture. I added the white flowers to soften the impact of so much purple and worked out well.

Really marvelous, Linda! I love the colours and items, especially the vase. And the way you sculpted the roses on te canvas! Fantastic!

Artist Reply: Thank you for liking my purple painting. I sculpted the roses and textures with modeling paste and painted over it, and the glass animals made from fine paper mache.
