This is the scene from the film, Maltese Falcon, when Sam Spade learns that his partner Miles Archer has been killed. I guess without the great screen play by Dashiell Hammett and the sterling cast Humphrey Bogart, Mary Astor, Sydney Greenstreet and Peter Lorre. This would be just another B move and not the classic which it is.
