Wild flora in Borgarfjodrur !

Wild flora in Borgarfjodrur ! Imagine what the first settlers had to work hard to change this landscape to fields,so that they could get grass for storage, because the cattle had to be inside during winter time ..... Hope you enjoy and have a great day !

Wonderful point of view, that grass could carry you through the winter? Incredible hardship. Terrific image, I love the composition and rich contrasting colors Makes me want to run through it looks like walking through the field would be difficult not to break a leg.

Artist Reply: Hi dear John ! You are right ,it is better to walk slowly over the moss.... :-)) Thanks so much for you great comment ! I´m so glad you like it.

A beautiful photo, Sigga! Always so scenic, so wild and wonderful! Those first settlers had a lot of work to do to create fertile fields with grazing for cattle! I see lots of lava rocks... settlers must all have had bad backs from picking up rocks!

Artist Reply: Hi dear Julie ! Thank you very much for you great comment ! I´m so glad you like it my friend. I think they had a strong back after all this... :-))
